Public consultation begins for Oxford 1,500 new homes proposal

An initial stage public consultation is now open on a significant new housing development on the eastern edge of Oxford. 

The Oxford Mail reports the development, being proposed in partnership between Oxford's Christ Church College and Dorchester Residential Management, includes around 1,500 new homes, a primary school and new pedestrian and cycle links across the A40 

The proposed development at Bayswater is to the eastern edge of the city, just beyond and to the north west of Barton. Future online and 'in person' consultation events are also planned for the week ahead.
